Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

Findzzy ("Findzzy," "we," "us," or "our") operates a mobile application and related services that help users discover photographers, visual artists, equipment renters, and creative professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you download, register for, or use Findzzy. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please discontinue use of the application and contact us regarding account deletion. This policy applies to all users, including visitors, registered members, vendors, and professionals who maintain public profiles on the platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, mobile phone number, email address, profile photograph, business name, biography, service categories, equipment details, portfolio media, calendar availability, location text, and communications you send through help desk or support channels. When you verify your account, we process one-time passwords sent to your phone number. We collect content you upload including photos, videos, reels, album items, rental listings, gadget advertisements, reviews, comments, and stories. We automatically receive technical data from your device such as device model, operating system version, app version, language preference, IP address, mobile network information, and diagnostic logs used to fix crashes and improve stability. With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate location data to show nearby professionals, events, and relevant marketplace listings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to create and secure your account, authenticate logins, personalize your home feed, display your public profile to other users, enable search and discovery, process your posts and listings, deliver push notifications about messages and platform activity, provide customer support, enforce community guidelines, detect fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We use location information to rank and filter results by proximity when you use discovery features. We analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve performance, design new features, and understand how categories and listings perform. We may use your contact details to send service-related messages, security alerts, and policy updates. Marketing communications, if any, will be sent in accordance with applicable law and your preferences.

4. Location Data

Findzzy may request access to your device location to provide core functionality such as showing professionals and vendors near you, attaching location context to listings, and improving recommendation relevance. You can control location permissions through your device settings; however, some features may be limited if location access is denied. We may also store a location label you manually select or enter in your profile or filters. Location data is not sold to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We retain location-related data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized where feasible.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who assist us under contract, including cloud hosting, media storage and delivery, mapping services, analytics, crash reporting, SMS and authentication providers, and payment processors where payments are enabled. These providers may access data only to perform services on our behalf and must protect it consistent with this policy. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Findzzy, our users, or the public. If Findzzy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.

6. Public Profile and User-Generated Content

Information you choose to make public on your profile, including your name, photo, portfolio, categories, reviews, and listings, is visible to other users and may be indexed within the app search experience. Public content may be viewed, saved, or shared by other users according to product functionality. You are responsible for the information you choose to publish. If you delete content or your account, we will remove or anonymize public displays within a reasonable period, subject to backup retention, legal holds, and technical caching limitations. Some copies may persist in disaster recovery systems for a limited time before automatic purging.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Device Identifiers

Our mobile application may use local storage, session tokens, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure feature usage. We may use analytics tools to understand screen flows, session length, and error rates. Advertising identifiers may be used only where applicable and permitted by your device settings. You can reset or limit ad tracking through platform controls provided by Apple or Google. Analytics data is generally aggregated and does not identify you personally except where necessary for security investigations or support requests tied to your account.

8. Push Notifications and Communications

With your consent, we send push notifications about account security, booking-related activity, messages, moderation outcomes, and platform announcements. You may disable notifications in device settings or within the app where controls are provided. Disabling notifications may not affect essential service messages delivered while you are actively using the app. We may record metadata about notifications delivered for troubleshooting and compliance purposes. SMS messages sent for login verification are processed by telecommunications providers subject to their own privacy practices.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required for fraud prevention, tax records, litigation, or regulatory compliance. Backup systems may retain encrypted copies for a limited period before scheduled deletion. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained for analytics and product improvement.

10. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted transport for network communications, access controls for internal systems, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for logging out on shared devices. Please notify us immediately through the Help Center if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port certain personal information, and to object to some processing activities. You may update profile fields within the app where editing tools are available. To exercise privacy rights not available in self-service settings, contact us through the in-app Help Center with sufficient detail to verify your identity. We will respond within timeframes required by applicable law. You may opt out of non-essential communications and adjust permissions for camera, photos, location, notifications, and calendar access through device or in-app settings.

12. Children's Privacy

Findzzy is not directed to children under eighteen years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information to us should contact support immediately. Age verification may rely on self-declaration at registration; we encourage parents to supervise minors' device use.

13. International Users

Findzzy may process and store information in countries other than your own, including jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to facilities operated by us or our service providers globally. We take steps to ensure that recipients provide a comparable level of protection consistent with this policy and applicable legal requirements.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The app may contain links to third-party websites, social profiles, payment gateways, or mapping services. This policy does not apply to third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through Findzzy. Integration with social networks or external booking tools is optional and governed by the terms and privacy settings of those platforms.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or by other reasonable means. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this document was revised. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires explicit consent. If you disagree with an update, you should stop using Findzzy and may request account deletion.

16. Contact Us

For privacy questions, data access requests, or concerns about how we handle your information, contact Findzzy through the in-app Help Center or customer support channels listed in the application. Please include your registered phone number or email and a clear description of your request so we can verify your identity and respond efficiently. We are committed to resolving privacy inquiries promptly and transparently. For security emergencies unrelated to privacy paperwork, contact local authorities first, then notify us so we can take appropriate platform action to protect our community.
